This eighteen hole course is situated on thirty acres of wetlands that are protected by the Environmental Protection Agency. The course is very scenic, with wetlands coming into play on eight holes. The design also includes gently sloping fairways, with many Scottish-style dunes sprinkled throughout, and numerous trees lining the course. There are large greens with sloping terrain, creating some challenging putts.

"Great course for the aveage golfer"
This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

"A great pitch-and-putt"
Although part of it will soon be bulldozed for a car dealership, I highly reccomend getting there while it's still a full 18 holes! Some holes are lacking in creativity, but quite a few give tricky shots over bunkers, mounded terrain, and alongside the Hockanum River. It's relatively affordable, and a fun way to kill an hour and a half or so.

Shandin Hills Golf Club
"Competent, courteous, prompt service"
I live in the South Bay (by LAX), and would rather drive out to Riverside or San Bernardino to play a four hour round than stay local and get tortured for 5 1/2-6 hours. Shadin Hills is a fun course, but more importantly, the staff is fast, friendly & courteous. Some of the other dog tracks I've been to lately have surly, imcompetent starters that never seem to be on time. Good Job!

"Fun Course - Great Value"
The course layout is very challenging with some tight fairways on the tricky front side, but is rewarding on the back with open, reachable par 5s. The greens roll well and the fairways are usually in good shape. You can't beat the deal at $20-30 for green fees and cart rental.
