This rolling course has elevation changes that range from seventy feet above sea level to 120 feet below. A huge forest consisting of pines, oaks and other native trees surrounds the 1,000-acre facility. A large lake once used by local fisherman comes into play and must be carried on three holes. A housing community sits in among the trees, and construction is limited to an area surrounding the front nine. The course has hosted many tournaments, including the U.S. Open qualifier in 1999 and will host the Senior U.S. Open qualifier in 2000. "Golf Digest" selected it 6th on its list of "Best New Private" courses for 1999. This facility hopes to expand to twenty-seven holes in the near future.

From the tremendous elevation changes to the challenging design, Money Hill is far and away the best golf course in Louisiana! The course is very well maintained and always looks stunning! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and overly welcoming. The Practice Facility is the best I have seen anywhere in the country. If you ever have a chance to play at Money Hill, don't pass up the opportunity!
