This relatively new course is lined with young trees and offers beautiful, scenic ambience. Locals consider this course challenging. Three holes have considerable water hazards, and sand bunkers are located throughout the design. The course is also undulating, with more than 100 feet of elevation changes between the clubhouse and the bottom of the course. A challenging hole is #5, a 535-yard, par 5, which calls for a tee shot to a well-bunkered, dogleg right fairway. The second shot must carry over Dog Leg Lake to reach the green, which is guarded by a large sand bunkers in front. Carts are mandatory Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 11 AM.

River Valley is a very nice course. I have my golf team meet there as a home course and it is wonderful. It offers a challenge and yet is perfect for beginners or advanced golfers.

Mt. Adams Country Club
"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

Valencia Country Club
"Valencia CC -- one of the finest in the U.S."
Valencia CC is a gorgeous layout and wonderful design that only gets better with maturity. This Robert Trent Jones course is a truly great test of golf. Demanding par fives and threes along with several of the finest par fours I've ever played make for a challenging and wonderful round. The 66,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with wonderful restaurant, grill room, snack bar, and great pro shop make this one of the most beautiful settings there is to play a round of golf. The practice facilities are absolutely great. This is one of the top 100 golf courses in the United States.

Darlington Golf Course
"Hilly Heaven"
Darlington starts off with an easy par 5 that is reachable in 2. It is a very hilly course with many uneven lies. The Driving Range opens in February! It is a great place to go on the weekends. But in the summer it gets crowded so make sure you get a tee time in advance.
