Nice place, but..., Sep 16, 2010 |

| Dande is a very nice golf course for the $ you pay. $27 to walk on weekends is a very fair price (any higher would not be worth it)! Cart fees are a bit pricey ($12 per). The Superintendent is outstanding and does a great job with the little he is given. Needs irrigation in the fairways, not just greens & tees (especially by late July). The clubhouse is a joke! It needs to be torn down and rebuilt with a nice 2nd floor bar that overlooks the course. As another reviewer said, the woman running this place has no clue about golf. Let the pro shop/starter guys make the decisions about how to run a golf course. THEY know what they are doing and know how to keep the golfers happy! The course could use some rangers on busy days to keep the pace of play moving too. Could use colored flags on par 3s to help tell distance better. Remember...happy golfers come back & spend more $! |

| June 26, 2009--- Tee boxes seemed to be of good size/quality. Fairways are nice & wide. The long cut can force you to make a good shot. Greens were "green" and found them to be in great shape( except for previous golfers not repairing their ball marks properly. Hey guys/gals, a ball repair tool doesn't cost that much (or even using a tee would be better than nothing). Overall. a nice course, esp. w/my 14 1/2 yr old son playing along. |

Worth the $$$$!, May 27, 2008 |

| Dande Farms won't do you wrong, if you are a beginner or are trying to teach a young player - Wide, forgiving fairways for hackers to reach medium to medium-large greens, quite fast for the ammount of play they get. No sand traps, water on just a few holes..Nice layout and it wouldn't take much to add some sand for next year's 50th Anniversary season! To sweeten the deal, no price increase after Memorial Day..Just $25 after 1pm gets you 18 & a cart - unbeatable & usually quiet in the afternoons. Give 'er a try! |

| The course is nice and could be nicer with a some investing. lady who runs it dosent know anything about the game of golf and should take some advice from the golfers out there instead of ignoring them. the course needs a watering system for starters and the shack for a club house should be torn down and builD a new shack one which you dont stand in urine while u are in the mens room. maybe some new mowers for the super the course will look a lot better. also dande should monitor the rates of competing golf courses in akron in the middle of summer there is no way that you can charge 38 w/a cart when there isnt any grass on the ground.. customer retention is very important. |

| THE COURSE IS A GREAT TRADITIONAL COURSE THAT HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL. IT COULD REALLY BE GREAT IF THE LADY THAT RUNS THE PLACE WOULD PUT SOME MONEY BACK INTO IT FOR EXAMPLE THE TEE BOXES ON #'S 6,7,8,11,13,15,17,AND 18 ALL NEED TO BE RE BUILT UNLESS U LIKE TO TEE OFF FROM A SIDE HILL LIE. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES IN THE MENS BATHROOM IF YOU WOULDNT MIND DIPPING YOUR SHIRT IN THE URINAL. MOST IMPORTANTLY THE PLACE NEEDS IRRAGATION IT WAS LIKE THE SAHARA OUT THERE LAST YEAR AND SHE CHARGED FULL PRICE FOR MOST OF THE SUMMER. WITH ALL THE OTHER COURSES IN THE AREA YOU WOULD THINK SHE WOULD PUT SOME MONEY INTO THE PLACE TO MAKE IT BETTER. I AM SURPRISED THAT ANYONE WOULD WANT TO HAVE A LEAGUE OUT THERE! |

| This is a fun course- the greens are in great shape. be careful on hole number 9- my friend always duck hooks the ball to the left, and there is a raveen there. we call him the kid- he could be under par until that hole, and then take an 8 on the par 4 number 9. he will then birdie number 10, which is a short par 5. no sand on the course, however there are water hazards. enjoy!!!!! |

NO SAND TO BE FOUND, Dec 16, 2004 |

| Not a bad course, but for the price its not worth it. The course never changes from year to year except for the price. It keeps going up. There is not one single sand trap on the entire course. Course would go from average to great if there was. . . Hole number 3 is a par 3 with a large pond called Al's Pond. Nice big green awaits good tee shot if you can clear water. It can be a calm round of golf until you get to holes 6-8. The wind is usually 15 mph more on those hole. Hole #9 is a tough hole, its a 400 or so yard uphill par 4 that plays more like 475. Hole #15 is Al's Alley Hole, its a nice par 4. The tee box is tucked away in the wood. You must have a long and accurate tee shot to leave yourself 150 or so to an elevated green. If you are to right you'll be picking through apples to find your ball. If your to far left you are our of bounds. Finishing hole #18, nice par 4 with great senic view of some picnic bences and shack for a club house. We can those benches, Al's Benches. |
