Best course in Akron, Jun 15, 2004

Very challenging. Well kept. Greens are fast, sneaky, and tough to read. Fairways are tight, tree's mature. Not a long course, but remember it is only par 70, equated to a par 72, it is a good distance. None of the par 3's are easy. And even the short par 5's have hidden trouble.

Great track!, Apr 23, 2004

great country club. clubhouse is fabulous. staff goes out of their way to make your stay a good experience. don't let the short yardage fool you. the couse is very challenging and one has to play very smart. the grounds crew have allowed the rough to grow, and with the small greens to hit...it is a challenge. the greens are very true, very fast. hard pressed to find better greens anywhere. the course is in impecible shape. not a thing out of place, and mark conner and his crew have done a lot of 'little' things ie: flowers, etc. to make this a 'must play' golf course. always nice to play an old course.

Accuracy much more important than distance on this course. Well kept greens, fairways, etc. Certainly "Country Club" quality.
