This course is well hidden from any outside disturbances. The greens are manicured perfectly and the fairways are quite forgiving. However, there are water hazards located on thirteen holes that are not so lenient. On the front nine, hole #6, a 510-yard, par 5, has a huge lake to contend with off the tee. On the back nine, hole #11, 380-yard, par 4, has a long lake along the left side of the fairway, which then curves in, obstructing the front part of the green. This course definitely requires a good sense for accuracy. The course also offers a nice restaurant and a well-stocked bar. The 24,000-square foot clubhouse is a great place to relax after a round of golf.

Great course that is well maintained. One of the best kept secrets in golf. This course is a must play.

"Under estimated"
River Park Golf Course is an amazing asset to the small town of Mackay ID. Many people including myself under estimated this golf course. When I arrived at the course I felt like I was too good of a golfer for a course like River Park but I was completely caught off guard. The narrow fairways, small quick greens and water hazards made it impossible for me to come close to paring the course the first few times.
