This course is fairly wide open, but there are numerous trees and sand bunkers incorporated into its design. In addition, the greens are small and fast. The signature hole is #15, a 200-yard, par 3, featuring out-of-bounds stakes lining the left side of the fairway and a well-bunkered green. The 5,585-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 65.7 and slope of 113.

| You would only like this course if you like to hit your irons into a cement green tha allows the ball to bounce twenty feet high and off the back because the owner knows nothing about golf, and is too cheap to water the greens. He has ruined this course!!! |

| Yule golf club. A hellacious layout that when combined with the swift Alexandria wind can spoil a good walk no matter the skill level of its combatant. The postage stamp sized greens combined with designer Hank Culp's notorious subtle breaks, puts precision iron play at a premium and can spell havoc if missed on the wrong side. Prepare yourself for the demanding 16th hole which could make or break a good round with its daunting tee shot and risk vs. reward second shot. Truly an enjoyable test of golf from the friendly clubhouse staff to the final putt on the winding 18th hole. Yule golf club "I thank ya sir" |
