This well-manicured course was beautifully carved out of the side of the Boston Mountains. This picturesque course is bedded with natural rock, lined with mature trees and overlooks the spectacular Arkansas River Valley. The greens are large, fast, vary in undulation and are multi-tiered. The fairways are tree lined, fairly narrow and rolling. Water comes into play on five holes, and dogleg fairways on eleven others. The signature hole is #8, a 181-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a ravine to a multi-tiered, elevated green.

Very nice for the area, Apr 07, 2005

Nice course when the greens and fairways are in. Very pretty views, and getting better each year with improvements to the landscaping, and as more housing develops around the course to take away the "out in the wilderness" effect. The fact that it is built on a hillside in the middle of the woods is its biggest compliment due to fairways up and down hills, rather than the normally flat landscape of most courses in the area.

I am new to golf but have had the oppertunity to play a no. of different courses. I played Eagles Crest in Oct. of 2004, It was a warm day but threating rain, we got to tee off fairly quickly and went to playing some ok golf . I knew i was in trouble on the very first green, par 4 i believe and i got in, in 7. The greens are very fast and the pin placement was difficult on that day and as you guessed it started to rain but we finished the round anyway and it was still like putting on burber carpet . I didn't have a very good round , but "I'LL BE BACK."

Beautiful. Tons of trees, watch out with the driver. Large greens will test your putting ability. Staff is great, very customer service oriented. Great deal for the price. Bunkers need some help though.

I had a wonderful time golfing on this course, the practice facility is not much to write home about but the course and the service was awesome, we were a threesome and got around the course in under 5 hours, we tee'd off at 8:30a and were done by 1:00p, we actually had time to re put the greens several times after every hole and we only waited twice the entire morning, it was wonderful, we are not the greatest golfers either, we were all in the 90's. It was just a pleasure to go to a course and be treated so nice and have such a fun round of golf, thanks.
