This course was built on rolling terrain and features large greens that are moderately undulating. Some of the tees and greens are elevated. The most talked about hole is #17, a 235-yard, par 3, featuring a drastic change in elevation from tee to green and providing one of the most scenic vistas on the course. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 6th "Best New Public Course" in America for 1995, and in 1996 it was selected it 39th among the "Top 75 Upscale Courses" for 1996. The same publication also rated it as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" rated this course 27th best under the 1998 category of the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." The club is also the site of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.

"Enjoyable Round"
It is an average length course, but enjoyable. The fescue around the bunkers gives the course a nice look. There are some intersting holes such as one with a 2 tiered green right in front to make for a tough second shot from only around 60 yards. Some water but overall its fun and if you have the chance to play there do so.

This course has come a long way in a short time. It flows well with redesigned holes, sprawling views, upgraded grounds and greens conditions and a new driving range. Good parking and friendly staff are a plus.

Pines Par 3 Golf Course
"Pines Par 3"
This course is just a ball to play. Yes they are only par 3's with the longest being 90yards but this is still a great course to work on your short game. It has done wonders for mine. This course is also a great place to get the kids started on golf. Friendly atmosphere. On Monday Nights they have a Golf Tournament entry fee is about $15, including the hole-in-one pool.

Triggs Memorial Golf Course
"Donald Ross Design at Public Rates"
Triggs is a good course, a tough layout from the back tees. Donald Ross designed Muni gets a lot of play and is a little rough around the edges, but a great test of golf. Played there for years before I relocated South.
