This hilly course was built in the mountains. There are water hazards and trees coming into play throughout its design. The course's signature hole is #17, a 625-yard, par 5, with a double dogleg fairway overlooking a valley. This club began accepting outside play in 1997.

Wonderful track, Aug 10, 2005 |

| Since moving back to the Altoona area a few years back, I've been disappointed with the courses in this area. Just an hour towards central PA, there are dozens of great courses everywhere. Today, I went and tried out the Sinking Valley course, and was pleasantly surprised. It was in excellent shape, and had plenty of risk/reward holes. I can't wait to go back. I think some of the other over-rated /over-priced dusty courses around here need to contact the green keeper over in Sinking Valley and get some advice! Nice Pro Shop too. Haven't seen one that actually stocks equipment in a while. Only thing I didn't like, they didn't have any logo balls :-( |

Nice Putting greens, Apr 18, 2004 |

| This is a neat little course that is very playable. The thing that I enjoyed the most was the putting greens. The putted fast and what you saw is what you got. Very readable. Just don't put your ball about the hole on some, or you will pay the price! I highly recommend this course and I am rated as a 9 handicap. |

Beautiful, Jan 28, 2004 |

| This is a beautiful course especially in the fall. The holes are surrounded by mountains as it sits in a beautiful valley. The course is kept in great shape and the holes are all playable for advanced to novice players. In general this is 18 holes of great golf. |
