This tight course has medium-sized greens and numerous mature trees define the fairways. The most demanding hole is #4, a 370-yard, par 4, which requires a tee shot over water to an elevated green guarded by out-of-bounds stakes. Ladies hit from the same set of tees as the men.

A nice small town course nestled in the hills sides outside of Ames. This course has plenty of trees, but the fareways remain open and allows a beginning golfer plenty of challenges. The hills hide greens and play can be tricky. It does lack some challenges for amature play such as the lack of sand traps, and doglegs. Overall, it is a fun course to play and the staff will make you fill at home!
