This difficult course requires most golfers to use every club in their bag. The course is located in a very scenic area and is highlighted by its beautiful trees. The fairways vary from tight to open and the greens are flat and firm. There are ponds that come into play on several holes.

I played River Birch for the first time this weekend. It was worth my $36.00. Membership isn't far away.

As good as it gets., Apr 14, 2005

The River Birch golf course in Amory, MS, in my opinion, is about as good as golf gets in North Mississippi. I think this state is ready for a fresh new approach to golf, unlike the existing golf courses of today.
