This course is one of the Northwest's best-kept secrets and occupies about one-third of the island which is divided into building sites. Access to the mainland is by ferry, a twenty-five minute run from Steilacoom in South Puget Sound. The island is five miles long and three miles wide, featuring an old-fashioned country atmosphere. This nine hole course utilizes the native foliage and natural topography. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are undulating.

| A fun and challenging little course with some tight fairways and challenging par 3s. Nice ups and downs yet easy to walk. Well maintained greens and fairways. Pleasent staff. Deer may impede play, but are nice to look at. |

| Course was too short. It only called for woods on 1 or 2 holes. |

Not so big, Jul 16, 2004 |

| The course is nowhere near the 'third the size of the island' claimed on so many sites. I doubt if its even a thirtieth. But it calls for straight shots and is relaxed and pleasant, with little pressure on tee times and no irritated followers to urge speedier play. Take your time, and enjoy. |
