This course was built on very hilly terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. Several water hazards and trees have been incorporated into the design of every hole. The signature hole is #17, a 375-yard, par 4, which overlooks the facilities and the surrounding community. Seniors only receive a discounted rate on Monday. There are golf card and lung card discounts as well.

Highland Springs Golf Course
"Great couse."
This course is a great example of Ozark Mountain terrain. Flawless greens, oceans of water, and large greenside and fairway bunkers make this golf course a 5 star course. The layout is a bit easier than your traditional 5 star PGA Tour Championship courses. The Nike/Buy.com/whatever its name is this year tour uses this course each year for one of its tournaments and the players always remark on quality maintenance.

Bent Creek Country Club
"Exquisite Conditioning"
I was a member at Bent Creek for ten years until moving to South Carolina. Day in and day out, compared with top caliber courses, this is probably the best conditioned course in the Mid-Atlantic area. Tees, fairways, and greens are bent grass, as are the practice tees and even one of the two practice ranges. The course is more difficult than its slope and course rating indicate, with very difficult holes at the start, especially from the back tees. It is a great course for average players from the regular men's tees, and a fantastic test for better players from the back. An under-par score from the back tees is exceptional.

"Pleasent Golf"
This is a fun course with just the right amount of challenge. Pretty with the lakes and trees It plays reasonably fast, about 2 hours. The greens could be a little better, but they don't burn out in the summer. Cost is reasonable for the area and condition.
