One tough, tough course..., Mar 06, 2005 |

| Stonebridge is perhaps the toughest test of golf in the greater Michigan/Ohio area (daily fee courses). Challenging doglegs, fast, undulating greens (which are smaller than average for an upscale daily fee golf course) and rough that changes the way you will play out whatever hole you're on are all waiting for you at Stonebridge. Throw in expensive homes bordering many of the fairways and you will find yourself taking greater time and care before hitting your next shot. Whenever a course designates their #1 handicap hole a par 3, you know you're in for quite a round of golf. Stonebridge has an excellent driving range. The staff has always been very pleasant to speak with. I try to play Stonebridge at least five times a year, even though I live more than 1.5 hours from the course. For me it is definitely worth the drive. |

| With so many dog-legs, and a few tricky short holes, tee shot position is critical. Staff is friendly an helpful and the driving range is good and hardly ever crowded. |
