This club hosted a U.S. Open qualifier in 1992 and also the Michigan State Amateur Tournament. This course's fairways vary in width and thickness of tree-lines. Water hazards (twenty ponds and four streams) come into play on all holes except two. The signature hole is #1, a par 4, featuring five sand bunkers in the middle of the fairway. The terrain is mostly hilly, but some of the fairways are flat.

"Magnificent"
This course is quite enjoyable to play. While length is not much of a factor, it plays much tighter than it appears. It is a fun course, and one that will test your risk/reward skills. The course is well developed, and very hilly. I would suggest that you ride while playing this course as well. This course is one that I wouldn't mind playing any day of the week.

I have attended this course a numerous of times and really enjoy the atmosphere of the area. The course is always well kept, and I believe it to be one of the best in the area. The twenty seven holes only makes it more enjoyable, by offering a new experience each time out. I was very pleased with the employeers as well. They were very attentive, and right on top of anything may group needed trhoughout the day. I will look into joining as soon as possible.
