This demanding executive course not only plays fair, but is challenging for all skill levels of golfer. Trees are scattered throughout the course, including some oak trees that measure over forty feet in height. There are numerous sand bunkers on the course, and water comes into play on five holes. The signature hole is #7, a 129-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over water to a triple-tiered, island green. All the greens vary in size and undulation, and a couple are double-tiered. Children under fourteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Great little course. Mainly a Par 3 with a few par 4's mixed in. Hole #7 is the signature hole being an island green. Hole #5 is a very short hole, but has a small tight green with 2 sand bunkers in front and drops off to a creek around the rest. Course is well maintained and manicured. Course is great for learning the short game and makes for challenging putts. Only negative is that some tee boxes are a little uneven.

GREAT TIME, Apr 27, 2006
reviewer: John Gould from Boise, Idaho
I just want to say after playing there off ond on over the years. This really is the best priced golf course around Northern Cal. And the conditions are almost always excellent year round. Hopefully anyone going as a single will get as lucky as myself yesterday and get to play with some GREAT locals named Bob (a marshall there) Jerry and John. They are a hoot. Thanks guys for a great time.

This is a well maintained executive golf course that will give your short game a workout. Affordable, convenient and quiet. If you can't have fun out here, perhaps you should think about selling your clubs. The friendly staff make this course all the more enjoyable.

Tee Box Help, Apr 05, 2005
reviewer: Rick from Antelope
I myself play this course probably 3 times a week, and have for the last 4 or 5 years. The tee boxes are a wreck. However, they are planning on doing something soon. With a greens staff of 1 it's tough and they tend to concentrate on greens and fairways first. Overall the course plays fun and challenging. Number 7 is the hole to try and beat it's pretty much and island green with very little over the backside for error. give it a shot sometime you can't beat the price and like everyone has mentioned it actually is bigger then it looks. The back 9 is well hidden.

Antelope Greens review, Mar 06, 2004
reviewer: Chris from Sacramento, CA USA
I noticed that there weren't any reviews of Antelope Greens on this website and I thought that somebody might benefit from a review by someone who has played the couse numerous times. The course itself is not very long, but it is bigger than it appears to be when you drive up to it. The grounds crew do a very nice job keepig the fairway and putting greens intact. The only drawback to the course are the tee boxes. They are not level at all. Sometimes you can't find any level peice of grass to tee off of. The other thing is that all of your tee shots are going to be straight. There is not a lot of strategy designed in the course. That being said you can't beat the price of admision. $16 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. It's a nice course with enough challenges for all skill levels. Give it a shot.
