This heavily-wooded course has water hazards coming into play on fifteen holes, and there are plenty of sand bunkers on the course. The tree-lined fairways are narrow and bordered by a standard cut of rough, and the large greens vary in undulation and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions.

| This is a very challenging course but also a bit quirky. With the exception of the par 3s, you cannot see any of the other 14 greens from the tee box. In fact on a majority of the holes you cannot even see the flag stick from the tees. This is due to many dog legs and changes in elevation. On a large number of the holes you also cannot see the green surface as you are standing over your approach shot. I prefer courses that have holes that I can clearly view from the tee box. This is a "hidden greens" course. The day I played (Aug 25 2006) some of the greens had been aerated however, the remaining greens were in very good shape. The fairways were rough in some spots. You will either love or hate this course. |
