This is a nine hole par 3 course. The fairways are wide open, and the small greens are fast. There is a pond that comes into play on one hole. The terrain is rolling, but easy to walk. The signature hole is #7, a 125-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water. This course and the driving range have lights for night play, and is usually open until 11 PM. The driving range is covered and heated during the winter months.

Great condition, everything is green, the greens are rolling true, in better condition then some 18 hole courses. Perfect for working on your short game or taking your kids out to play.

I played the course a day after it rained.The fairways were still pretty wet but in good shape. Greens were O K,Problems with 1or2 of the greens

The greens are burned up, the fairways are well, not really that good of condition and the matter of fact is that my backyard is maintained better than this par three course.

Augusta Golf Course
"A fun course for the price."
Augusta Municipal Golf Course, affectionately known as "The Cabbage Patch" certainly isn't in the same league as its "big brother" on Washington Road, or even some of the more expensive public courses (The River, Jones Creek) in the Augusta area. However, that doesn't mean it's not a fun (and at times, very challenging) course to play. Greens range from very forgiving early in spring to harsh and very tight in summer and mid-winter. Fairways are narrow enough to provide a challenge off the tee on most holes. Rough is punishing throughout the course - so do your best to keep your ball out of it! Course upkeep can leave something to be desired, especially on weekends in spring and early summer. Don't be put off by the course's short length - you'll still find plenty of opportunity to hit every club in the bag. However, the short length does make for a good chance to walk the course and save a few bucks. Be sure to call for a tee time first, expecially on the weekends. New renovations to the clubhouse and a WONDERFUL staff add to the enjoyment of playing this cheap, fun, popular course where dozens of kids, students, and beginning adults have gotten their first taste of the game.

Plymouth Country Club

Plymouth Country Club is a difficult test of golf. It challengers a player's ability to make shots and keep the ball in the fairway. Heavily wooded areas on many holes can cause big numbers if you wander too far from the fairway. The front nine is where a player should try to get through around even par and then make some birdies on the back. The back nine consists of a number of risk reward holes and two very difficult holes in a row (15 and 16). Finish strong on the two par 5's (17 and 18) and you could have yourself a fine round of golf.
