This is a shotmaker's course because of the many hazards that must be avoided. There are nine lakes and a couple of creeks that come into play on most holes. The fairways are mostly flat, but there are some mounds that can cause uneven lies.

Excellent Value, Apr 22, 2010

First off, I paid $11 to walk 9 holes. It is another $2 to walk the back 9 but I didn't have time. Course was in pretty rough shape although the greens were great. They are going to aerate next week so call first. They are still doing a ton of work to a few holes and they have seed down on many others. Looks rough right now but after we get a bit of rain it will soften everything up and the grass will start to fill in.

good value, Jul 31, 2008

At present the course only has 12 playable holes as they lost 6 greens due to the recent flooding (summer 2008). The holes in play are in excellent shape and the greens will hold your approach shots and also roll well. I played the 12 hole layout for $15 including a cart. League play on Thursday prevents open play after 3 p.m. While the course is fairly short, if you play the blues it is plenty long on the holes I played today. From the blues all but one of the par 3s play 160-200 (the other 125), and several of the par 4s play 410-430. The course has one par 5 that is reachable in two, but it takes an accurate tee shot and approach to the small, protected green. I recommend the course for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money or who only has 2-3 hours to play. The staff is very friendly. This morning was my first time to play this course and I enjoyed the round enough that I'm going back this afternoon. Some websites list this course as having a driving range, and the sign out front on Jeffco Blvd says so, but the driving range has been gone for several years.

Good Value, Fun Golf, Sep 13, 2007

This is a relatively short par-68 golf course with a unique layout. Although the yardage is low, there are a large variety of holes with many different strategies coming into play. I probably hit driver 4-5 times the entire day, but attacking holes with different clubs made for an interesting round. There are some empty sand traps and some scarred fairways, but the greens and tee boxes are in great shape. For $18 it's a great deal. The one payoff for long hitters is the 480+ yard par 5 with an awesome elevated tee box - so you get at least one good hole to try and bomb the driver. I had a great time, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely return.

Pomme Creek is a clean, nice, and friendly course. My kids do a four sum there every Monday morning and they love it so much.

Relaxing (not too many other golfers) Enjoyable. Cheap! Nice atmosphere with RR tracks and creeks. Fairways not too long for a beginner like myself, but long enough to build confidence

Fun course with difficult holes, Aug 08, 2005
reviewer: Anonymous from Imperial, MO
The course requires you to place most of your shots in the landing area of the tee. Definitely not a long course so the driver stays in the bag half the time. The holes are fun and challanging and requires you to think and plan ahead. Not just a straight, flat, borring course. Fairways could be in better condition and no sand in the bunkers. Overall a good, fun course that I'll definitely play again.. not to mention that it's cheap.

This is a nice semi challenging course. It is great for beginners or average players to practice their game on. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good place to play.
