If only they maintained it decently, Jun 15, 2009

This course has a nice varied layout, but the groundskeeping is nearly non-exisitent and getting worse year to year. We play all four local courses when we visit the lakes,but as of 2009, we're taking this one off the list. Not much of a course for over $60.00. Spend the money down the road at Brooks National.

"Good greens"
The corse isn't extreamly long, but can pose a challenge from the back tees, especially for the mid-long hitters. It is well manicured, and the greens have a smooth, consistant roll.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

Lake Junaluska Golf Course
"Nice game for the price/area."
Lake Junaluska is a decently manicured course, which is fun to play for the price. Very reasonable green fees usually mean lacking in the ammeneties... but do we go there to golf or what? Rolling hills and manicured greens make it a nice time.

"Decent course little money"
I like the course for the price I pay to play 18. Students get discounts too. In comparison to the other public courses around here in the same price range this course is much nicer.
