| I haven't been golfing that long,so I don't have a vast amount of experience or comparisons to draw from, but the course seems challenging, with plenty of water hazards.I really don't care what kind of grass is in the fairways,Im normally not in them anyway. The staff are friendly and helpful,it's not overcrowded,so all in all Sycamore Canyon has been a great place to golf. |

| Let's just put it this way, I didn't even play the course. I pulled up to it, took a good 5 minute look around, drove around the golf course, and went home. It's flat. It's in the middle of agriculture, and looks like it's being taken care of by a bunch of gardners who all together's age wouldn't be above 20. The sandtraps are dirt. Not sand, dirt. It's basically a hole dug in the ground and called good. The only grass on the tee boxes is that which would have grown wildly out in nature. Unless the matted yellow stuff sparcly thrown about was it. I couldn't tell. And if you could tell where the fairways ended and the rough began, I then dub thee "head greenskeeper for Arvin" because it's evident they didn't care to figure it out either. All in all, you would be better off spending your money on a six pack and chipping in your front yard. |
