This course was built on rolling terrain that was once farm land. The front nine has more wide open fairways than the back nine, while the back has the tree windbreaks previously planted for protecting the crops. All the greens, as well as some fairways, are well bunkered. The greens vary in size, and some of them are elevated. The most difficult hole is #7, a 586-yard, par 5, requiring a straightaway tee shot to a two-tiered fairway, plus an approach shot to one of the elevated greens. To reserve a tee time for the weekend, you must call on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Senior and junior discount rates only apply Monday through Thursday.

Very Pleasent - Make you feel good course, Jun 08, 2004
|This is a long course, that does not especially feel like it. I call it my "Make you feel good course" if you can manage the ball, you will walk off in the low 80's. Great course to play right before a tournament, very pretty, well looked after, very easy going starters and marshalls. And cheap for NoVa.|
