| I have played all over the country and have not found a better deal for the buck. Course always in good shape, and they have done alot to the course over the last few years to make for better play. |

Great golf for the price., Aug 07, 2007 |

| I was in Asheville on business and wanted to get some late golf in. The twighlight rate was a cheap $15 for all the holes you could walk before dark. I got in with a group of locals; all very friendly. Play was slow; typical for a muni. And the layout was mostly bland. But the condition was excellent. The fairways were tight and the greens were receptive and rolled very smooth. I played until I couldn't see anymore and got 21 holes in. There were actually several golfers still on the course when I quit. Not sure what it costs for a cart, but the course was an easy walk for me (a 35 year old), especially the front 9. I can't speak for the amenities, as I was only in the club house for a moment. The course is nothing visually spectacular, but it ranks up there as the best bargain course I have ever played. |

| I am a Fairview native (live 10 mins. away from the course). I probably have played this course 20 times. For me putting is the best part because out of those 20 times, I still havn't figured out the greens. The couse is open year round, and stays in good shape. Very nice people, good condition, and great clubhouse. Only complaint is speed of play can be slow sometimes. |

Playable in a pinch, Feb 23, 2004 |

| This is a nice short Donald Ross course that is inexpensive. The front nine is generally uninspired, although I like the 8th hole, a 150 yard par 3 with an elevated green. The back nine is more interesting as it features more vertical terrain. The course is fairly well maintained, and the clubhouse is very nice. |
