This short course does have narrow fairways. Many of the greens slope from front to back. The Bluegrass Invitational is held here annually. The signature hole is #15, a 150-yard, par 3. The golfer tees off through a chute of cottonwood trees to a green fronted by a large lake.

| Bellefonte Country Club requires shot making ability; Willie Parks design offers playability for all levels; very very risk reward type of golf course, however taking a chance does not get you in the clear because Bellefonte in the Summer months offers the fasters greens in the Tri-State Try to go low on this little gem and expect the worst; play concervative and make some putts and under par is not out of the question... |

| Bellefonte is a great course to get away to when you just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of nature. It is a very peaceful and quaint course nestled in the rolling meadows of Eastern Kentucky. I love the tranquility here. |

| Speaking from expierence, to play this couse well you must simply play it safe! If you play it safe and don't over read your putts this course will be a piece of cake. It may be short but it is a challenging couse to both the bad and the good! |

| If you want a challenge, keeping it in the fairway and putting this course, you will have an enjoyable round of golf here. Maybe short, but you won't 'burn-up' this little 'gem' of a golf course. Friendly people, excellent pro-shop coupled with an excellent dining room. |
