This is a very demanding course. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are large. Two water hazards sit between holes #13 and #16 and can steal your ball if you stray on the tee shot. Numerous sand bunkers have been positioned on fourteen holes, making shot accuracy a must if you wish to shoot a low round. Dick Watson also designed the back nine, which was added in 1982. The ladies' par is actually 74. The 5,903-yard men's tees also have a ladies' course rating of 72.0 and a slope of 116.

Mixed in nearby with Iron Horse and Quarry Oaks, two of the best in Nebraska, Ashland offers a great little course for the average golfer. Big greens and open fairways allow for an above average challenge. Located rurally between Omaha and Lincoln, there is never a problem getting a tee time or experiencing long waits at the tee box. A fine golfing experience for all ages and skill levels!

"Short but Tough"
I've been playing this course since I was 10 yrs old and have only parred it once. I have my only hole-in-one on the 7th hole which is a tough 203 yd par three. I have had many eagles on the par fives but always struggle with the tough par fours. It is a challenge and will probably always remain that way. Tight throughout the course layout. I love playing here!

Webster Golf Club - East Course
"Not Bad"
I am a 16 year old boy with a very high interest in the game of golf. This webster east course is a great challenging expespriance for anyone of all ages. Now there is a catch being that I am only a 16 year old boy the greens fees are just to expensive. Now I am not saying that they should make it real cheap to play there because yes the semi-high fees do create a more civalized playing environment. But if some how there was a junior rate or some sort of way to help youngsters like myself afford to play here.It may open the doors to a whole new horizon on money making stradegies.Thanks

"Satan's Glen: Hardest Golf Course I've Played"
Glen Eagles gets a lot of negative press due to the location (in the hood...there are projects off the 5th hole), and the fact that it's 9 holes only (though you can re-play it from different tees to make it 18). But the main reason everyone hates it, is because it's hard as hell. Every shot is a utility shot...there is something in your line, you're on a hill, the angle is impossible, the distance make carrying difficult, etc., etc., etc. With a slope of 139, this is one of the hardest courses you will ever play. And the "roughness" of it is simply part of it's charm. Let me put it to you this way...Lee Trevino played Glen Eagles years back, while practicing for the US Open at the Olympic. He couldn't break 80...in two rounds. This was in his prime. No, this course is not high-class. Actually, if you need an umbrella in your drink or someone to pick you up at your car so you don't have to carry your bags...don't play Glen Eagles. If you're a sportsman, who wants the ultimate golf challenge...come out to Glen Eagles and try to break 80. When you don't - just head into the bar and have one of many beers on tap and a hot dog. Relax, nobody else broke 80 either.
