Green Hills is just a golf course to me. It might not be very pleasing to eyes but nothing about is neglect really affects your game. A good place to play if you're short on money

Course needs help, May 13, 2005

The worst maintained course I have ever played. Rock hard fairways and greens. Watch a puff of dust rise when your ball hits the green and then watch your ball roll off the other side. The only positive was that the golf carts had plenty of get up and go. Course might be better in winter with overseed and softer fairways.

There is no other place like Green Hills. Where else can you hit in the fairway and still land in mud or against a rock. Wait a minute, did I say fairway,no avid golfer could see where the fairway ends and the rough begins. The greens are covered with sand and dirt, not grass. The entire time, you are just hoping that your golf cart will make it all 18. Worse of all it costs the same as the University of Georgia golf course(a very nice course) which is right down the road. Bottom line, what a joke!
