This course never plays the same way twice and each hole is different. The front nine is wide open and the back nine is tight. The greens are average-sized, and mature trees line the fairways. There are three ponds on the course, but water only comes into play on one hole. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

Played this corse several times and enjoy it always!! It's a good course for the serious golfer and I believe would also be enjoyable for the beginner. Recommend you give it a try!

This course is definently worth playing, a great buy if you have to take a break from 60.00 green fees. Moderately challenging, well mantained, Friendly staff. A great low budget round of golf.

golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

Highlands Ridge
"Hidden Gem"
Played South @ North Courses. South is short but challenging. Very enjoyable. Lots of character. Great condition. Flowers everywhere. North Course is a newly opened(2003) exceptional layout. Both courses are well worth the trip. You won't be disappointed.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.
