This course was built on hilly terrain that was once the site of a Civil War battle. The fairways are fairly narrow and tree lined, and water hazards (two creeks that meander their way through the course) occasionally come into play.

An okay course, Aug 19, 2005 |

| The course is generally in good shape but the fairways always seem to retain water. It seems to stay soggy. The greens are a wreck but they are working on them. The staff are okay but a bit standoffish. The par 3 ninth is a tough hole at over 200 yards. This is a very hilly course with a few blind tee shots. It's a bit over priced to me. |

| Coure has challenging holes. Most fairways are bordered by lots of woods, which makes it not as favorable during the fall when leaves are falling. |
