Nice Par 3 Course, Apr 16, 2004 |
| reviewer: Joe
from Atlanta |
| This is a nice, short, par 3 course. The greens are in good shape, but fairly small. The average hole distance is probably just over 100 yards, with the longest being 147, and the shortest about 75. The really short holes are a little frustrating because they arn't even a full sand wedge. However, the course is a neat one to play. Water (mainly in the form of a creek) isn't in play on many holes. There is a resident population of geese, ducks, and swans that are very people friendly. The prop shop is fairly bare-bones but the pro is knowledgeable and friendly. There is a small practice green, with only two holes cut in it. There is also a "practice hole" which is actually an island green that you are allowed to hit your own balls onto for practice. All in all, a nice experience for a very low price. |
