This scenic course features young trees and six different lakes that surround the design and come into play. Nearly all the fairways are dogleg configurations and most of the greens are flat. Sand bunkers and water hazards line the sides of the fairways on most holes. The signature hole is #8, a 155-yard, par 3, featuring a green that is surrounded by a lake and shaped similar to a horseshoe. Senior and family passes are available, be sure to call for current pricing information.

A great excuse to leave work early, Aug 30, 2005

I am definitely not a good golfer, but this is a well maintained course that is fun to play and the price is right. During this years drought, the course was well watered. The distance and hazards are just right for those of us who like a challenge but are mainly out to enjoy a couple hours of golf. My only dislike is that the lakes are not well maintained and have gotten stagnant during this years drought.

There is nothing better to do on a warm summer evening than playing a few holes down on the POYCC golf course. The course is always kept in the best condition with improvements always being made where ever possible. The course is easy enough for the casual golfer, but has a variety of challenges that make it fun and competive. The best aspect of the course is the great atmosphere and senic views of classic New England in Long Island Sound. After playing with friends, returning to the club house is a great experience. The course is always alive and no matter what the circumstances it is always a good game of golf.
