This course features rich and diverse landscape that has meshed beautifully with the designer's philosophy. Four separate tees offer broad yardage options. The terrain encompasses everything from wind-swept meadows, heavy carries over wetlands, and challenging corridors through mature wooded areas. The landing areas are spacious, but the greens are medium to small in size and guarded by swales and an appropriate number of sand bunkers. A challenging hole is #2, a 165-yard, par 3, which is framed by heather and woodlands. The green is elevated on this hole, with a drop-off area in front. A highlight of this facility is its sophisticated practice area, which includes more than thirty stations, a number of practice bunkers and target greens. The 5,900-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.2 and a slope of 146.

Challenging and Beautiful, Apr 19, 2004 |

| As a high handicap golfer I am sometimes put of by a course as challenging as Fieldstone, but it has become a favorite. The mixed beauty of heather lined holes and drives through the woods make it a pleasure to spend a few hours. If you haven't tried this course, you should. |

Fun to Play, Mar 11, 2004 |

| A fun course once you find it. Accomodates all levels of skill depending on where you tee off. Reminds one of a mix between an Olde English links course with a bit of Northern Michigan scenery. Definately worth giving a try |
