This course weaves in and out of the woods and is highlighted by plenty of natural wetlands and an abundance of water coming into play. The generous fairways play to small, well-undulating greens that play fast and true. The most challenging hole is #9, a 582-yard, par 5, which plays between two tall stands of trees. The blind approach shot is to a well-bunkered, sloping green.

"Good course to teach your kids"
This is a good course to teach tour kids how to golf, because it is a moderately short course. I took my 8 year old son golfing there, and he shot a 58! Not too bad for his first time out, and he had a blast!We have been back twice and can't wait for sping to go again.

There is nothing better to do on a warm summer evening than playing a few holes down on the POYCC golf course. The course is always kept in the best condition with improvements always being made where ever possible. The course is easy enough for the casual golfer, but has a variety of challenges that make it fun and competive. The best aspect of the course is the great atmosphere and senic views of classic New England in Long Island Sound. After playing with friends, returning to the club house is a great experience. The course is always alive and no matter what the circumstances it is always a good game of golf.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.
