Plays nice, Apr 08, 2005

Score early because it's hard to make up strokes on the back. Good news is, if its a match you're never out of it. Keep it staight. The front has bailout areas left or right and you can score pretty well. The greens are in pretty good shape and there are not a lot of hazards. The back gets tighter with shot selection more important, because there's trouble left and right.

Chalet hills is great for my game and for my wife who is a beginner. Golfers of all skill levels can come to Chale Hills and work on their game from a variety of angles. It is a great course with great staff.

Marshall Canyon Golf Club
"Trickier than you think and don't EVER walk."
Marshall Canyon is a fun course with some quirky holes but for the most part it is pretty fair. The greens are trickier than you think and there are some hole placements that totally suck if you get above the hole. It is a hilly course that you don't want to walk unless you are in very good walking shape. All in all, it is a good course with a decent price.

"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

Lake Platte Golf Club
"It's Okay"
This course is okay as far a playability goes. When I went there were dead spots of grass in the fairways and the greens, however we were in the middle of a drought during this time. For a small town golf course, it is pretty good.
