This course's fairways vary in width. Water hazards come into play on two holes, and the terrain is rolling. The signature hole is #8, a scenic 601-yard, par 5, featuring a raised creek that is identical to the one at Augusta National. The course has redesigned over the century by Seth Raynor (1926), Donald Ross (1927), Hugh Moore (1950's), and Bob Cupp (1983).

Outstanding Course, Nov 22, 2004

If a member offers, jump at the chance to play. The course is in excellent shape, in the same league as the adjacent Augusta National. Very challenging rough, deep bunkers, both sometimes too punitive. Greens are fast, smooth and true. Fairways lush. Typical Ross design, a real test for the short game.

dont bother - this course is a waste of time and money, the grass is brown, the bunker sand is grey and its not at all challenging.

Great Greens- Backs up to Augusta National. Same Rolling hills with huge pines. Classic Donald Ross with more demanding par 5's than Pine Needles or Southern Pines.
