This fairly flat course has tree-lined fairways and plenty of well-placed bunkers throughout its design The Cedar River comes into play on four holes. The large greens are slightly sloped and about medium speed. The back nine was cut out of a forest area, so you can expect some trees to alter your second shots if you don't hit an accurate tee shot.

| Although Ramsey might not be in the best shape it is still a very challenging course with a tough layout. You can find yourself in trouble of pretty much every hole on the course if you don't hit it straight or know how to shape your ball. Take advantage of the easy start Holes #1 and #2 provide as the rest of the front can be a major challenge. The back 9 can be long but there isn't as much trouble. |
