2 short of a gem, Jul 09, 2009
reviewer: Brian Cauller from Malvern PA
Good test of golf. Lazy start on holes 1-3 with 2 short part 4's. The 4th hole is a fantastic narrow shoot to the fairway and into a slender green. #5 throwaway hole 110yd straight downhill. Rest of front finishes nicely esp#8 225yds over hazard par 3 with a shallow green. Inward 9 is possibly the best side in the area. #10 is the only one that does not work. From the black tees the inward 9 is all you want

Best Course I have played in the area. Meticulously groomed, diverse holes, beautiful landscape. Challenging yet rewarding, a great course for entertaining clients (although you may want to play it first to gain some familiarity). Tough course if you are above a 25 handicap.

Best course I have played in PA. No hole is the same, perfectly manicured, plays longer than the yardage, beautiful scenery.

I love this course and the people that run it meaning the golf pro the chef and bartender. The grounds crew are the best. The pro gives group lessons which are very reasonable and so much fun- besides learning a lot. The members are very good people-that LOVE THE GAME-also the club is like a second home where everyone who plays or works there are very friendly and courtesy to all. The chef and bartender contribute to an ara of cheefullness and homeiness. It has always been a pleasure to be there.
