Loch Nairn Golf Course
Rural Route 1Avondale, PA 19311

This relatively challenging course was built on predominantly flat terrain. The fairways are narrow with most of them being tree lined. There are sand bunkers scattered throughout the design, and water hazards come into play on twelve holes. The greens are fairly large, sloped and fairly slow. The course starts out with a 350-yard, par 4, which calls for an approach shot over a creek. This same creek also crosses the fairway on the next two holes.

| Loved the course. The golf pro was very friendly and I appreciated the information he provided about the course. He asked us if we would allow a foursomes of seniors to tee off ahead of us which we did. We also allowed two singles to play through. However, Bob the golf ranger was very, very rude in the way he told us we needed to pick up the pace. I could have understood his tone if the problem continued or if it was a second or third warning but not the first. His attitude was extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. We respected their request to allow others to tee off ahead of us but no respect was returned. Also the course workers would not step aside and allow you to play. Approaching one green the course workers were trimming grass around each sand pit on either side of the green and we had to chip up on the green with them continuing their work; they would not even pause to allow us to play through. After being fussed out by Bob we could not even tee off at the next hole due to a worker mowing 30 yards from the tee box in the center of the fairway. On another fairway the course workers mowed right over our ball chopping it into three pieces. I loved the course, appreciated the golf pro, but was very disappointed with the lack of respect from both the course ranger and those cutting the grass. Bob even told us he didn't care about the course workers..."just hit them if they are in the way." This is no way to treat your patrons or your employees. |

| Typically overbooked with elderly players. Had bad experience on 2 T-times matched with 120+ players even though was promised not to be matched at the T-time selected. Do not appreciate a bait and switch just fill the course every 3 minutes. Will not return again. |
