This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect some uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on a few holes, and a scattering of large trees can affect your shots. The fairways are wide, but tree lined, and the small greens are fast and well bunkered. The signature hole is #6, a scenic 350-yard, par 4, with a narrow fairway and a water hazard that comes into play down the entire length of the hole. This facility has an indoor range, with computer graphics and a swing analyzer.

| Played this course in early September and was very surpised at the poor conditions of the fairways. The summer drought has really taken its toll on Butter Valley. There was viturally no grass on just about all the fairways as they were completely burned out to the point where there were just a few tufts of grass here and there. The green, however, were in reasonably good shape. The owner and the staff are super friendly. I hope the course is able to recovery by next spring. |

| This course is not really long from the tips. It has a neat little layout that runs up and down the hilly terrain. One interesting hole is a par five which measures over six hundred yards and runs along a airplane runway. I loved playing here every Saturday when I lived in the Lehigh Valley. It is worth playing at least once. Beautiful country all around. |
