This is a well-maintained course that plays long. The fairways are plush and open, and the greens are large and fast. The flat terrain is very walkable. There are several creeks flowing throughout the course.

| When you think of top notch courses, many names come in mind such as Lake of Isles right down the road, but the Mohegan Sun Country Club (Pautipaug) is also a well kept secret. The greens are extremely demanding and there is a great mix of doglegs, short, and long holes. If you ever get the chance to play there, I agree with TN, take it. |

| With lush fairways, demanding par fours and fives, and greens like porcelain, Pautipaug is a challenge for any golfer. Over the past few years, the changes made to the course have been give and take...opening up some areas while making others more challenging. A beautiful walk during any season, Pautipaug has been one of the best kept secrets of private, challenging, well-maintained country clubs in southeastern CT. The staff and Pro are curteous and professional, and the food is excellent. A triple-tee offers members and guests a chance to not only enjoy this food and service, but also to interact with other members and their guests. If you EVER get the opportunity to play this course, be sure to take it. |
