Clifton Park Golf Course

This is a great course for walking. There are water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The layout concludes with a 512-yard, par 5, which plays to a well-bunkered green.

Very Pleasantly Surprised !, Jun 03, 2006 |

| Played this course about 25 years ago and thought it would be in pretty sad shape. Was I surprised! Enjoyed the course, GPS system in the carts and the staff (plus the greens fee was VERY reasonable). Will definitely play there again. |

Decent course - distracting location, Mar 07, 2006 |

| This was my first visit to the course and the course by itself was in great shape and the carts with the GPS is definitely a nice feature (considering the low price). But I found the course not shielded from the surrounding traffic, which was quite distracting on atleast five holes. Moreover, there were non-golfers constantly walking across the unfenced greens. This was a two star experience for me! |

| The city of Baltimore shold be proud of this course. This course makes scoring easy on most of its holes. The price combined with the layout, friendliness of staff, and the carts wih the GPS system, makes this course ana absolute steal. I wish I was closer, I would play this course at least 3 times a week. |

Wonderful Golf Course, May 18, 2005 |

| This Municipal Golf Course is a lot of fun and a great deal. It's a great place to hone up your skills. Because the weather is typically mild, we golf year round. It's busy, but never too crowded. Every September Belair-Edison Neighborhoods, Inc. holds a Golf Tournament at Clifton, followed by a reception at the Clifton Park Mansion, formerly Johns Hopkins' summer home. The surrounding neighborhood is a diverse and vibrant up and coming community in Baltimore city and very convenient to the golf course. |

| Originally thought that this course would be poorly maintained and dangerous because of its location within the city. However, my experience was quite the opposite. Well mainained and not damaged by the surrounding low income housing neighbors. GPS system on each cart shows distance to pin, hazards, and other carts. Very inexpensive fees compared to others. |

| This course was a blast...even though it's placed nicely in the ghetto I still had fun. Well kept for a municipal course. |

| One of the best rounds of golf for the money I've found. Fairways are forgiving, greens can be a little challenging. Course is well maintained. An all-around good experience |
