This course's first four holes are heavily wooded, and the last four holes play alongside Naraganesett Bay. This is a seaside course which offers great views, but the prevailing winds are always a factor. The greens are fairly small, undulating and protected by numerous sand bunkers. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 4th best for 1997-98.

Excellent layout, Sep 21, 2004

My wife and I truly enjoyed playing the course, especially the last four holes facing the bay. The wind is a steady element and makes the course harder to play. Many par 4 holes have become almost impossible to reach in two with the wind in your face. Great course!

Hardest course, Aug 03, 2004

I thought I was an above average golfer befor playing this course. once i did i realized how much work my game needed. This is hands down the hardest course ive ever played. The greens are intensely fast and one bad shot will lose you the hole. good luck playing this course, cause youll need all the luck you can get

this year i was captain of the golf team at the prep school i attend, as such i got to play many of the best courses in new england, this course stood out, i loved the layout as well as the upkeep. Besides some casual water it was extremely well kept and offered a challange
