Family Friendly, perfect short game practice course, Sep 06, 2007
reviewer: Jeff from Lexington, SC
I'm a 90 plusser on a budget, and Indian Trail offers me a great place to go play for a price I can afford more often. The laid back atmosphere is perfect for bringing along the wife or one of the kids for some quality family time, meeting up with the buddies for a fun afternoon, or just some time to myself to work on my game or get out and enjoy the weather. The greens are always very well kept - better than some of the pricier courses in the area - and though it is a fairly short course, it is not by any means without challenge. From the white tees, there are only about 3 holes you need the driver for and it is a perfect course to build some short game skills and confidence on.

Fun course at great price., Jun 09, 2004
reviewer: RH from Lake Murray
I love this course. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff and other golfers are always friendly. The price can't be beat. ($10 to walk 18!!) There are several holes I dread and that are always a challenge. The course is well maintained. Although a public course, they offer memberships and senior discounts.

My new "Regular Course", May 24, 2004
reviewer: Rick Barbery from Columbia, SC
I have just recently moved to Columbia from upstate South Carolina, and consider myself an average golfer. I play mostly Public Courses, and since I moved here last year, have been trying to find a course to play on weekends on a regular basis. A friend on my new job invited me to play Indian Trails about a month ago. One round and I was hooked. For the price and the course conditions (yardage and toughness of layout), this course is as good as any I've played in the last 10 - 15 years. Indian Trail is most definately my new Regular Golf course. If you live in (or just visiting) in the Columbia / Lexinton area and want a challanging round of golf at a low price Here's your course. "Y'all Hit 'em Straight"!

Thank You, Apr 01, 2004
reviewer: Brian McCormack from Ward, S C
I am the golf coach at Ridge Spring-Monetta High School and would like to thank Indian Trail Golf Course for being our home course for the past 5 seasons. The people at Indian Trail go out of their way to accomodate our team. If you live in the Lexington, Aiken, or Saluda areas and enjoy playing golf on a friendly course that welcomes all golfers of various abilities then I urge you to give Indian Trail a chance.

I would like to thank the staff at Indian Trail for allowing the Ridge Spring-Monetta golf team to use the course. Indian Trail is the best kept secret in the Midlands of South Carolina

Condition, Mar 04, 2004
reviewer: George from Lexington Sc
It is a nice golf course with some challanges but the biggest are the sand traps or lack there of. They don't have sand in the sand trap except about a half inch. Other than that the course stays in good shape. It is a laid back place so if you just want to go have fun on a golf course this is the place.

Great for the price., Mar 03, 2004
reviewer: Paxton Windholz from Lexington, SC
This is a very friendly course with a super staff. It is fairly well maintained and gives the "working man" a nice place to go. BYOB, so you don't get ripped off, and they have some great sandwiches. Less than $30 for weekend with a cart. I love this course.
