This course lies in the center of Baton Rouge and is one of the busiest public courses in the area. The back nine is the best part of the layout, with a nice mix of long and short par 4's and par 5's. There is a dry creek that meanders its way through this course and runs diagonally across holes #14 and #16, both par 4's. Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays.

| i've played the front 9 several times and i must say it is layed-out quite nicely. The fairways are fairly wide and the greens are fairly easy to read. some tricky bunkers and a small pond on hole 7 which could choke up some beginners.the course drains fairly well but after a few days of persistant rain water may collect sparsely. |
