This well-manicured, gently rolling course has several lakes, and a stream that winds its way through the mature treed course. The bunkered greens are large sized and undulating, while the contoured fairways are lined with oak, magnolias, pine, and dogwood trees. The signature hole is #3, a 462-yard, par 4, which is very difficult and requires a shot through tall magnolia trees on both sides of the fairway to a slightly elevated green. Water hazards come into play on fifteen holes, and dogleg fairways on several others.

Great golfing experience at a very good price, Nov 05, 2004
reviewer: T. Hess from Sugar Land, TX.
Don't let the low price fool you. Evergreen is a great golf experence. Nice layout, beautiful scenery. As an average golfer, I found this course to be very challenging, even for the low handicappers I play against. The greens are well maintained, many are multi-tiered and roll true. Wish I lived closer, it would be my home course.

Well Kept Secret, Aug 02, 2004
reviewer: Stephen webb from Houston, TX
The course has to be one of the best kept secrets in the greater Houston area. The facility offers a welcomed complete golf experience. The course offers a premium for those staying in the fairways. The greens are well maintained and fair. A great place to enjoy your game.

Great Design, Jun 08, 2004
reviewer: Fred Jenson from Houston, Texas
Evergreen Point is a friendly course with an excellent layout. On every teebox the best shot is obvious. The greens are in good condition and the rough is thick, but not uplayable. One negative is that the course starts out with three pretty tough holes. The par threes are challenging, but not the 200 yard monsters so popular today. This course is my favorite public course in the greater Houston Area.
