A BARREN PILE OF WEED FILLED **** WOULD BE A BETTER PLACE TO PLAY GOLF THAN THIS HOLE IN THE WALL IN OCEAN COUNTY

Not the jewel in the pines, Feb 28, 2009

Although the course has a nice layout,it is not upkept. Choppy tee boxes in midsummer,shag carpet greens and no roll in the fairway make this 6200 yards from the back tees feel like 6600 yards.A few nice holes (3,8,9,14) make you think about club selection on the tee. WISH they would irrigate the course and keep greens cut.

Slow Greens, Feb 18, 2009

I realize this course gets a lot of play and the greens do get beat up, but there's no reason for them to be this slow. Maybe a superintendent with some education and know how is the answer.
