This course provides a beautiful view of the mountains. The fairways are wide and tree lined, and the greens are small and undulating. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 6th "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998.

| Easily the best course in the state. The playing conditions are high end and kept at tournement expectations. The Donald Ross design is very good and a pleasure to play. The pro staff could use a slight reality check but the country club as a whole is a great place. |

| The cream of the crop for NH golf courses. Classic Donald Ross. Excellent conditions, beautiful challenging layout that takes full advantage of the natural topography. I've played just about them all in NH and this is number 1. Manchester CC, Nashua CC and Portsmouth CC - play those in NH before you die. Just played Canterbury Wooods, nice course but please don't put it a class with the above mentioned courses. |

| I might happen to be a little biased since I grew up in that same town. Now I work at Lake Winnipesaukee Golf Club and the only course that I can think that would rival this course is Manchester CC |

| Challenging old Donald Ross design with some long par 4s. An incredible layout that has been around for a long time. You have to know where to put your tee shot for your approach to the green. |
