This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. The large greens are fairly undulating and medium speed, and the tree-lined fairways are bordered by a multiple cut of rough. Reciprocals are only allowed to make tee times for the weekends and holidays; they must arrange a tee time at least two weeks in advance.

A fun course that needs some work, Oct 24, 2005 |

| At a time of competition among golf clubs for members, this course is losig out, and it should not. The setting is quiet and comfortable, and the course is a bit of a challenge, but little attention has been paid to the course or operations of the club. At my recent visit (10/20/05) the clubhouse was closed, the pro shop almost empty of merchandise, and little activity was evident--other than a few players. The couse has holes that range from pitch n putt to very tough. Conditionas were not too good--worse than I've seen in previous visits. Divots on tees not filled, fairways shaggy and greens with a wide variety of speeds. The course draws water from the Little Miami River, so dry conditions should not be an issue here, but they were. I am told that the ownership is trying new things--givethem a chance. I hope the course gets a bit mroe attention, because if it does the place can be a real gem. |

| This course is by far the best all around private course in the moderate price range in the whole Dayton, OH area. Rural setting, beautiful fairways and greens. Rolling hills. Tee shots are very important because placement is important. The green hold well. Some people walk, you would have to be in shape. A great golfing experience. |
