A few years ago I wrote a review for this course, it has since changed management a few times and after playing nine holes...oops, eight holes, I have to change my review. I only played eight holes because of the terrible condition of the course itself. I know a sprinkling system exists on the course but there is ample evidence that the current management does not believe its there. Therefore one should bring a hammer along to pound your tees into the ground, aim for the rough and hope there is some grass around so that you don't create a cloud of dust as your clubs bounces off the turf. As if the course wasn't brown enough two of the eight greens were so bad that i had to move the ball to get a bounce free putt. Then there is the 150 yd marker that is suppose to be white but shows more blue than white. At 16.00 for 9 holes its a complete waste of cash....go play a miniture golf round....at least you will know beforehand that it is concrete.

Holes 14 thru 18 are about two years old now, and have definitely upgraded the course. The 15th, from the back tee, is one of toughest I have ever played. Par there feels like an eagle. Over time 14 will come into its own. The 18th is another challenge and par is a good score. Overall the course is quite a pleasure to play and can be a challenge if one strays to far from the fairways. This course is the toughest in the Bemidji area.

originally a 9 hole with the 2nd nine added some years ago. the "new" 9 in the front, original course is the back. the front is good. the "back" is not so good with the exception of #10, #13, #18. the front is much more interesting and weaves through the MN forest. you will lose and find many balls. the course is generally in very good shape. there are big changes underway for 2004 with the "old" nine being reinvented and I am anxious to play the new layout. it should improve the course immensely. has a short order restuarant and lounge, pro-shop and driving range.
