It's a pretty good course. It is a very inexpensive course to golf. $20 for 18 holes. Not too bad. Semi-public

Playable and enjoyable, May 08, 2004

No frills or thrills, just decent golf. Layout made boring landscape an interesting setup. Hole 11 long par 5 a nice hole, as is the easy number 1, a short dogleg right. Great hole to get your slice out of the way!

This course is a above average golfers dream. Length and contour is a premium. Tree lined fairways, you'd think you're in the Lincoln Tunnel.You need to play smart to score well. The below average golf will have ample oppurtunities to score well on the par 5's and the par 3's. The par 4's ,lets leave those for the big boys. In all, it is good for everyone, at a reasonable price, on a country club setting on a New England landscape.

Like Shadow valley the front 9 is more interesting than the back 9, I guess that is to entice those 9 hole golfers. The driving range is small and over water. I particularly like the dog leg second hole, the dog leg is at the beginning and there is a huge valley in the middle of the hole, so placement and the ability to shape the shot make a huge difference there. The TV hole (see the other review) is one of those over the water to the smallish green hole. I use a longer club than normal on that one. It plays longer than the yard markers. Maybe thats just the water talking to me. Small clubhouse. Its a good change from other golf courses, but I find I get bored of it towards the middle of the year.
